AJCMods 3D Rear Shock Relocators for the Traxxas 1967 Chevy C10 Drag Truck
*PLEASE READ*
Orienting your shocks in a vertical position is proven to help linearly transfer G-forces on launch and under acceleration, which allows you to lay more power down with more stability. We wanted to do the same with the Traxxas C10 Drag Truck but were limited with space due to the extra wide rear tires. Traditionally our vertical shock mounts extended the top mounting points of the shocks outward and left the bottom mounting points where they were. This results in a straightforward option part that doesn't require much post-install tuning. However with this truck the only way we could get the shocks to stand up was to bring the bottom mounts inward and down, which works to get them vertical but alters up the original suspension geometry. Once installing this part you must either add stiffer springs, thicker oil, and/or heavy shock-spacer pre-load to compensate for the new geometry in order for positive results to be seen. Therefore this part is only for the hardcore tuners/experienced drivers!
